Mental health is an essential part of our overall well-being, and small actions can make a big difference. With Just Notes of Kindness—a thoughtful word, an encouraging message, or a heartfelt compliment—can brighten someone's day and create a ripple effect of positivity.

 

 The goal here is to advocate for mental health awareness, and share what works for you or maybe find some inspiration from others that help you with finding healthy ways to take care of  your mental health. I have been inspired by the stories of others who are overcoming life's challenges and it just makes me feel I am not alone on this journey.

 

I know for sure without some key people in my life I would not be here today. The aftermath of the day my son tragically took his own life and then my youngest son dealt with undiagnosed mental illness and lost his battle with drug addiction led me to some of the darkest, loneliness days in my life, I was honestly ready to check out because the pain is just unbearable at times, but with the support and kindness, hope and help from family friends and even strangers, they all played a part in helping me hold myself together and keep moving forward with- Just Notes of Kindness.

What we do and say matters.

 

My go to is music because it has the unique ability to calm the mind, lift the spirit, and inspire connection. Whether it's a gentle melody to help ease stress or an uplifting tune to energize, or if you are like me sometimes we need a little bit of the harder stuff  to get out anger, sadness, and anxiety.
